Mentoring Meeting

Thursday, March 25th

6:30-8:00 p.m.

All current ULA students and mentors are invited to our monthly mentoring meeting. This month's theme is "See how far we have come!" Each student will do a 5 minute presentation of their service learning project, answering the questions: 1) What did I do? 2) What did I learn? and 3) How did this project make me a better leader? As always, we will play games and have refreshements as we connect!

Graduation Banquet

Join us we celebrate the 2009-2010 ULA students! We will hear presentations from the students on their service-learning projects, share a meal together, and award our top students with scholarship prizes. All families, mentors, pastors, and community members are welcome!

Kristen Talbert (ULA 2003 graduate) - She is currently a senior at the University of Minnesota, studying Native American culture and history. She is an officer of the American Indian Student Cultural Center. During the summer Kristen traveled to several reservations to work with young people and to teach the Lakota language.
