10-Month Service Project

Once ULA participants have completed the first two phases, they are prepared to take the skills and knowledge they have acquired and put them to use in a 10-month service project. With guidance provided by a Christian leader mentor at monthly mentoring meetings, ULA participants make a meaningful contribution to their community and church through their very own Service Project.

Our Results

With the experience of the Urban Leadership Academy, young people are equipped with the resources to be leaders in their communities and their churches, to help others and to have a positive impact on the world. Many of our participants go on to pursue a life of service in urban areas, as community leaders, mentors and members of the ministry. Not only that, our participants serve the community while they complete the ULA program – our students have contributed over 60,000 hours of commu-nity service to date in the Twin Cities metropoli-tan area.
